Ind vs Aus 2nd ODI Today at Vizag

After a complete clean sweep in the Test Series, India take on Australia for another show down in the ODI series which begins today with the second ODI at Vizag after the first match was abandoned due to the rain. Australia have won every one day series in India since 1998 which ill add lot pf pressure on the skipper Michael Clarke in the absence of Punter as there are only two matches to be played and not much space for the errors by one of the captains.

Some of the eminent players of Australia have been given rest to prepare for the Ashes which begins next month. Skipper Ricky Ponting, all- rounder Shane Watson and pacer Mitchell Johnson are were rested where as Shaun Tait, Ryan Harris and Peter Siddle are injured and are not in a position to play. On the other hand, India have given rest to Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Sachin Tendulkar and test the bench strength to prepare the team for the world cup. In the absence of regular openers, in-form Murali Vijay will start the proceedings with Delhi’s Shikhar Dhawan, who is likely to make his India debut. Saurabh Tiwary might also feature in the playing eleven today.

Yuvraaj Singh would also be under pressure to cement his place in the ODI side aftre losing his place to Raina in India's test side. Dhoni has also made a recent announcement that couple of places in the team are still up for grab which will add more woes to the Yuvraaj mental strength, however he is coming after a decent showdown in the domestic circuit. David Warner, Doug Bollinger, Yuvraaj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan would be the players to watch out for today. Match resume at 1430 hrs IST today.
