Rajnikant wishes Robot to spread the same magic as Sholay

Hefty budget or big stars in the movie doesn't mean that movie is a super duper which is the fact well understood by south superstar Rajnikant. On the music launch of Robot some of the biggest names of the entertainment industry gathered like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajnikanth and A.R Rahman.

Rajnikant in his little speech full of wit made everybody laugh and mentioned that this role was first offered to Kamal Hassan and then Shahrukh Khan however he landed up in the role which proves that ''Daane daane pe likha hai khane wale ka Naam'.

Along with some humor he also added that Sholay one of the biggest movie of Indian Cinema reached that status not just because it had big budget, had big stars or contained latest technology however it became so big because of its story line up, acting of the stars and amazing screenplay.

Rajni mentioned that 'Robot' also contains all the qualities of Sholay and has a unique story, along with this it has big budget of Rs. 160 crore and technical excellence.

Director Shankar has made the movie bilingual as 'Robot' in Hindi and 'Endhiran' in Tamil. Aishwarya Rai plays the female lead opposite Rajnikant in both the versions.

Music was launched by Amitabh Bachchan whom Rajnikanth always admires and calls him his inspiration.

With all the things mentioned, this movie is bound to be one of the biggest hot of the year.
