ICC Awards 2010 Results & Live Updates



After a sizzling win over Australia, all the cricketing fans in India asking one question - Would it be Sehwag or Tendulkar to take home the top honour at LG ICC Awards 2010 which are taking place in Bangalore as we speak. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has been nominated for 3 awards this year which are Test Player of the Year, Cricketer of the Year and People's Choice awards where as Sehwag contest for 2 awards in the categories of Cricketer of the Year and Test Player of the Year.

This is almost certain that top honour of 'Cricketer of the Year' would come to India however the the real suspense lies in who wins it. It would be either Sehwag or Sachin. Another Indian name features in ICC Cricket Hall of Fame nominations. Bedi was named in the original 55 inductees to the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in association with FICA in 2009.

Some of the results which has already been announced are as:
  • McCullum wins award for best T20 performance
  • New Zealand wins the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award
  • Steven Finn is ICC Emerging Player of the Year
  • Netherlands Ryan ten Doeschate wins ICC Associate Player of the Year award

  • Emerging Player: Umar Akmal (Pak), Steven Finn (Eng), Angelo Mathews (SL), Tim Paine (Aus).
