JMET 2011 online application form submission begins today

Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) 2011, conducted every year by IIT Delhi, online application form submission shall commence today for the next year. Interested canidates can log on to this link : http://gate.iitd.ac.in/online1.php, and register themselves after following the instructions.

Last date for Online application form submission is 8 October, 2010 at 6:00pm (IST) after which website for registration would be closed.

JMET is conducted for admission into the 2-year full time Postgraduate Degree Programmes in Management offered by the IITs. Institutes which currently offer these programmes in management are IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee.

Candidates are advised to have digital images of their photo and signature in JPG format that are less than 150 Kb in size before they start applying online as if the face is difficult to identify in photo, the application form will be rejected. The application fee is Rs.350/- for SC/ST/PD candidates and Rs. 750/- for all other candidates.

JMET 2011 would be conducted on 12th December, 2010 between 10:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs and results would be announced on 3rd January, 2011.
