Asian Games 2010 Medal Tally : China at Top with 87 Gold Medals
In the 16th Asian Games, China is proving its dominance at home with 87 gold medals already in the bag. China so far has won 158 medals out of which 87 are Gold, 36 Silver and 35 Bronze, and it is looking to stop in the near time.
Chinese women Zhao Jing and Gao are the latest to win the gold and bronze in the women's 100m backstroke where as Japan's Shiho won the Silver in the mentioned event. South Korea is at the second spot with 28 Gold, 21 Silver and 30 Bronze medals where as Japan has so far won 90 medals out of 17 are Gold, 39 are Silver and 34 are Bronze.
North Korea and Chinese Taipei are on the Fourth and Fifth spot with 5 and 4 Gold Medals respectively. India has slipped further down to 11 position as its athletes which gave spectacular performance, especially shooters, back home at the Commonwealth Games failed to live up to the expectations.
