UGC Net Online last date for online application extended

It was the last day for the applicants to apply for University Grants Commission (UGC) National Entrance Test (NET) for the admission in the upcoming session, however candidates faced lot of problems after the website of UGC net online crashed due to the heavy load on the server.

However, after these problems were encountered and reported to the authorities on the last day, the last date for fee submission and date for online application submission has been extended till Oct 26, 2010 where as Print out of online Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card shall reach at the respective test centres on or before 1 Nov, 2010.

The result of the UGC-NET to be held on 26th December, 2010 will be made available on the UGC website on http://www.ugcnetonline.in and shall also be published in the Employment News as and when it is declared. The candidates will not be individually intimated about their result. Candidates appearing in NET should clearly specify in the prescribed Application Form whether they are applying for both JRF & eligibility for Lectureship OR only for eligibility for Lectureship.
