Endhiran (Robot) Box Office Collection Report

As expected, Rajani Dada has broken all the records set by the previous big hits this year i.e. 3 Idiots and Dabangg. The film has raked on over 100 crores in the first week with just the ticket sales which includes all three versions and oversees ticket sales which makes it the highest ever grosser in India.

Robot is expected to generate at least about Rs 120 crore - Rs 130 crore more from ticket sales around the world as fans are still queuing up for the tickets. “The occupancy is 100% in South and more people are queuing up to buy tickets for which ever show they get, even if its after a week,” said Devang Sampat, president – operations, Cinemax India.

There are also news that at some places that tickets are sold in black for Rs 5,000. This is absolutely the perfect way for the critics who have been advising Rajanikanth to retire or take the roles according to his age.

Robot is banking on a simplistic story and earning big bucks for its makers on the Super Rajni craze. The film proves that Rajni still has what it takes, returning three years after his last blockbuster, Sivaji The Boss. And it deserves every penny earned as the film thrills with its effects and there is not a dull moment.
