Shakira in Indian Film, would play Goddess Kali
The Waka Waka singer is all set to spread her magic in Bollywood now. According to the sources, Shakira has given nod to play Goddess Kali in an Indian film which would be produced by Karan Arora, CEO of High Ground Entertainment.
"Shakira is on board. She has agreed in principle. She has said yes when my co-producer met her. But she is yet to sign on the dotted line. The money is being worked out quickly," Karan Arora said.
"Kaali - The Warrior Goddess" will be a 3D motion film shot on CG. It will be a full-length, two-hour Hindi film to be shot in London, or then in a city in Eastern Europe. When asked on why Shakira has been chosen as Kaali, Arora answered as "We wanted someone dusky and Shakira is dusky. Besides, we wanted an international star."
It will be fun to see Shakira as Kaali as the first question comes to my mind is how a Columbian dance queen would be able to deliver the dialogues of a Indian mythological goddess, if I'm right these dialogues should be in Hindi, right!
