Jennifer Grey in tears in Dancing with the Stars

Jennifer Grey made much awaited and wanted debut on the premiere of Dancing With The Stars last night. The former Dirty Dancing actress, who starred with Patrick Swayze in the hit 1987 film, performed the Viennese waltz to Otis Redding's 'These Arms of Mine.'


Jennifer Grey danced with the partner Derek Hough to "These Arms of Mine," one of the songs from from " Dirty Dancing" Scenes from rehearsals showed Grey, the daughter of actor-singer Joel Grey, breaking down in tears after recalling dancing to it with Swayze, who died last fall of pancreatic cancer.

It was hard to believe that Jennifer Grey is 50 years old when she took the stage with Derek. Jennifer brought with her the memories of Baby dancing with Johnny, and, memories of how well Jennifer, in Dirty Dancing, could dance. Twenty-three years later, Jennifer, at age 50, outscored the competition, Jennifer and Derek earning a score of 24.
