Champions League Results - Mumbai Indians lost to Redbacks

Mumbai Indians got stunned for the second time in the second edition of high profile Champions League T20. Indians led by Tendulkar had a good score on the board, however Australians being Australians despite of losing 3 wickets in the span of 12 bowls in their innings, made a come back with Michael Klinger and Daniel Harris batting and took the game away from Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai earlier scored 180 in their 20 overs and gave some heavy pounding to the the Redbacks bowlers where Rayadu scored 38 off 32 balls, Tiwary scored 44 off 25 balls, Pollard scored 36 on 21 balls and Bravo hit 22 off just 12.

In reply South Australian Redbacks started with fierce hitting after which lost some wickets in quick succession, however the unheralded Redbacks never stopped going for their shots and sixth wicket pair Cameron Borgas and Tom Cooper put on 24 off seven balls to get the Australian side home with three balls to spare.

But Michael Klinger (50) and Daniel Harris (56) took advantage of some sloppy fielding as Harris was dropped twice and Klinger once, they put on 112 for South Australia's first wicket and give their team the start they needed after which Cameron Borgas and Tom Cooper took them home.

South Australian is in now at top position to reach the semi-finals with two wins from two matches in Group B, where as while Mumbai faced probable elimination after losing both their matches.
