Anysha Panesar is America's Perfect Teen 2010, but she is British

Some got confused, some were left fuming and some were praising her beauty. Anysha Panesar, a 16-year-old beautiful British girl participated in America’s Perfect Teen in Kissimmee Florida when she was on vacation with her parents. Out of her expectations, she won over 30 other contestants, and £14,000 in prizes plus a chance of her own TV show.

Parents of other 30 girls (participants) were left fuming when it was disclosed that she is British and started protesting however they were told by authorities that Anysha hasn't broken any rules.

Panesar, a private schoolgirl from Wales, says she did not expect to win because of her heritage, but she thinks the judges picked her because she stood out from the other girls. She said after the win, “My mum was sitting there crying her eyes out and my dad didn’t know what to do with himself". “My grandparents were on the phone – they were all so proud”, she added.

Anysha Panesar has also been provided as a part of her prize the scholarship to get trained as a TV broadcaster, so might see her very soon on the television in the era of Erin Andrews and Ines Sainz.
