Sri Lanks beats India easily in Tri Series, reaches the Final

One of the good things about India and Pakistan cricket team is that you can never predict them and both the teams would always give you something against your expectations. Recently a struggling Pakistani team after down with 2 - 0 on four test matches series, out of nowhere, beat this year Ashes favorite strong England Team, where as on the other hand after creating all the controversies and making a hype of the no ball, loses to Sri Lanka disgracefully which is their one of the biggest defeat so far.

Team India batting first only scored 103 runs in 33.4 runs which was easily chased by the opponent team in 15 overs. It seems, if the ball is doing a bit, these Indian players can't bat at all as their performance against New Zealand and Sri Lanka in this series speak for it.

Four players reached the double figure score which means they got the start i.e. Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and Skipper Dhoni as they scored 12, 11, 38 and 10 respectively, however failed to capitalize on the same.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka Team played their natural aggressive game, Randiv or No Randiv, ir really didn't matter as they were aware it was do or die because if they would have lost this, they would have been out of the series.

No Indian batsmen showed an inclination to guts-it-out in the middle as Thissara Perera took his maiden 5 wicket haul in ODIs.

In reply, Sri Lanka achieved the total in just 15.1 overs, emember it is not Twenty-20, where Mahela Jayawardene and Tillakaratne Dilshan opened the innings scoring 33 and 35 respectively.

Captain Kumar Sangakkara hit the winning runs on Ishant Sharma's first ball of fourth over and took his team to finals.

India would play New Zealand on Wednesday and the team wins in this would play Sri Lanka for the cup.
