Situation like flood in Delhi causes huge traffic jam

This is the year of heaviest rains in the Capital city due to which Delhi is on the verge of getting the flood alert. There were heavy rains experinced in varios parts of the city which causes the major traffic jam on the waterlogged roads. Some of the worst hot areas in terms of traffic today were Vikas Marg, Nizamuddin Bridge, Mathura Road, Ring Road, Munirka, Laxmi Nagar, Ashram and Mehrauli Road.

Traffic was comparatively slow than usual in the areas like Connaught Place, AIIMS, South Extension, Nizamuddin, Saket, Safdurjung and Kalkaji.

Yamuna has already crossed the 204.83 meters danger level and officials are predicting Delhi flood alert. Officials from the met department have predicted increase in the showers and heavy rains in the next few days, which means Delhi will face more water logging and obvious traffic jams as there are no roads to see due to heavy water logging.

Remember to carry your umbrella whenever you move out of your house as Met department has predicted more rainfall in the coming days.
