Satyam Fraud Accused Ramalinga Raju gets Bail
Ex-Satyam Chief Ramalinga Raju has been finally granted bail by Andhra Pradesh High Court on the health grounds. Raju was arrested January 2009 after found accused of the India's biggest corporate scams.
Ramalinga has been spending his term in Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) since September 2009. The court that granted him bail on the grounds that he should not be discharged from hospital and his treatment for Hepatitis C should continue. Raju would have to present himself before the court every day after discharge from hospital.
Ramalinga Raju, is the last person to get a bail in this case as rest of nine accused have already been provided bails by different courts on different occasions.
He was arrested after found the main accused of Rs 7,800 crore scam of Satyam Computers on the charges of criminal conspiracy, forgery and misappropriation of funds.
