Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete is the Miss Universe 2010 Winner

Finally this Universe got its Miss Universe for the year 2010 during the early hours of Monday. 59th edition of the pageant, Miss Universe 2010, took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.

There were 83 sizzling beauties who have showed off their svelte figures in jaw dropping swimsuits, exquisite evening gowns and they also had a quick thinking interview, which impressed the panel of celebrity judges.

The first part of the selection was the top 15 semi-finalists who were judged on their swimsuit, evening gown and the first round of interview test. The countries Ireland, Albania, Phillipines, Jamaica, Mexico, Ukraine, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Guatemala and Australia were selected to the Top 10.

In the end, beautiful Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete was crowned as the Miss Universe of year 2010, where as Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps, Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell, Miss Ukraine Anna Poslavska and Miss Philippines, Venus Raj finished at 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Place respectively.

Last Year Winner & Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela proudly crowned the Miss Universe 2010 Jimena Navarrete.

Miss Thailand Fonthip Watcharatrakul and Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell won the special titles which are were Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality respectively. Miss Thailand had also won the award for the Best National Costume.
