China has so far convincingly proved its strength as it continues to rule the roost with 37 Gold Medals just after the two days of competition in 16th Asian games where as its nearest competitor has won total 35 medals out of which 13 are gold, followed by Japan with 8 gold medals. India as expected is in Top 5 so far with 1 gold, 3 silver and one bronze medal, however it is difficult to say wheather India would be able to retain its position after looking at the form of China and other asian nations.

Here is the updated Medal Tally So Far :

Country - Gold - Silver - Bronze - Total
China - 37 - 14 - 12 - 63
