Tata Aria, the 4 wheel drive crossover launched at the price of Rs 12.91 lakhs

Tata Motors Ltd has launched its new masterpiece, the Tata Aria which is the India's first four-wheel drive Crossover, a luxurious creation with the finesse of a sedan and the muscle of an SUV all blended in one car as it has interior styling of a premium sedan and a robust outer shell like that of an SUV.


Tata Aria is powered by a 2.2 litre DICOR engine with variable turbine technology with a 32-bit ECU. It delivers an impressive 138 hp (140 PS) of peak power and 32.6 kgm (320 Nm at 1700-2700 rpm) of peak power. Hence, Aria is bound to be quicker and easier to drive than the rivals provided the transmission and clutch action are precise and smooth.

The new MPV offering from Tata Motors has been built for multiple terrains and comes with a host of safety features, which include 4x4 Adapterra Torque-on-Demand System, Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS) and Antilock Braking System.

Tata Aria would come in 3 variants i.e. Pleasure 4×4, Prestige 4×4 and Pride 4×4 which would be priced between Rs 12.91 and Rs 15.50 lakhs as per the variant.
