Chalasani Pandu Murdered, found dead in apartment

As per the sources, Telugu Desam Party leader from Krishna district, Chalasani Venkateswara Rao (Pandu) found “Murdered” in an apartment (Swapnika Pearl) at Madhura Nagar in Hyderabad. Pandu and his PA Mahender Reddy reached home in the night and was scheduled to leave on Monday at 5 AM but Pandu found “murdered” at 4th floor apartment.

Mahender Reddy was seen escaping from the window of apartment in late night by the watchman, which shows his involvement in the death of Rao. He has been working with Rao for last 15 years. Police as of now not in the state to release any statement and would be probing the case; however not ruling out commission related issues to an illegal land settlement done few days ago as major cause behind this brutal act.

Pandu lost 1999 Elections by 1000 votes from Vuyyuru Assembly fighting as an independent candidate against TDP leader Anne Babu Rao. In 2004 and 2009 elections, he again lost Penamaluru Assembly to Minister Parathasaradhi by a meager 170 votes.
