Aishwarya Rai turned down million dollar deal, gearing up for new film Guzaarish

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will never let anyone shoot her at home.And that’s why she reportedly turned down a million- dollar deal by a Hollywood studio to have a documentary made on her life, similar to the one made on Shah Rukh Khan.

If reports are to be believed, a foreign crew would have followed Ash for a week and documented her personal life. But she said a firm no to the, shall we say, ‘ voyeurism’. Despite a lot of persuasion by the team, Ash stuck to her stand. Sources close to her said she was a private person and did not want her privacy and family life exposed and brought to the screen.

The lucrative deal was reportedly offered by a wellknown studio. The actress, meanwhile, might be spotted smoking in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film, Guzaarish , which brings Ash and Hrithik Roshan together after Dhoom. Insiders who have seen the trailers are surprised by the scene since Ash is known for her clean reputation on screen.

But her fans need not worry. Sources said the smoking scene isn’t for real. It’s apparently a funny scene where Ash tries to smoke even though she doesn’t know how to. Guzaarish’s trailer was initially supposed to release along with that of We Are Family but will now come out with Anjaana Anjaani, set to hit theatres on September 24.
